Leader in above-the-neck protection, Centurion, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Curtis to the role of Head of Technical & Quality. A pivotal role for Centurion, the appointment is part of the manufacturer’s commitment to driving unrivalled innovation and product quality.

Mark is a product development leader with over 20 years of experience, having spearheaded the design and manufacture of products ranging from consumer appliances to automotive to defence. He has worked for some of the UK’s best-known brands including JCB, Whirlpool, BMW, BAE, and Dyson. Mark is also a Chartered Engineer and member and mentor for the Institute for Engineering & Technology. He is trained in ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 and Lean Six Sigma.

His engineering career began as a design apprentice working on heat exchangers and large pressure vessels, moving on to products such as high-performance audio equipment, consumer tableware and more. He then went on to co-found an international product development consultancy.
