  • Ninth annual Marketing Excellence Awards recognise innovation and creativity in the industry

Centurion were among the winners at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)’s prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards last night. They were crowned Best Brand Building Campaign SME, as judged by an esteemed panel of experts, including Peter Markey, Marketing Director of TSB and Jonathan Horrell, director of global sustainability at Mondelez International.

The awards were held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel and hosted by CIM, the world’s leading professional marketing body, with a 28,000-strong global membership.

The ceremony highlighted the new face of Marketing, with digital innovation and multi channel customer experience at the forefront of this year’s winning campaigns.

Centurion Safety Products scooped the prestigious Best Brand Building award for its unrivalled performance in delivering marketing excellence for clients.

Andrew Gordon, Marketing Director at Centurion, says: “We are extremely proud of the award, it reaffirms our brand purpose, and sets the foundations for our future. To win is a massive achievement. This would not have been possible without the unwavering focus of the team and our valued partners.”

Chris Daly, chief executive of CIM, said: “Professional marketing is a vital driver of business advantage – boosting commercial outcomes and growing talent. At a time when the return on investment and data protection rigour of marketers are under scrutiny, our winners demonstrate the value of creative marketing.

I would like to offer my congratulations to all who made it to the finals; they reflect the very best in global marketing talent and our founding partner The Marketing Trust who help make these awards possible.”

The CIM Marketing Excellence Awards have been running for nine years and recognise and reward brilliance in the field of marketing, celebrating the finest minds within the profession.
