Centurion attain Norfolk Carbon Charter – Silver Level
13 diciembre 2017
2017 has been a transformative year for Centurion, following substantial improvements and investment in the renewal of the Centurion head office building.
Following this investment an assessment was carried out in the summer of 2017 by the Norfolk Carbon Charter. Centurion are proud to announce they have been awarded a Silver Level accreditation. The Carbon Charter is awarded to organisations that are monitoring and reducing their carbon emissions. The Silver Level is only awarded to organisations that have already evidenced a clear reduction in emissions.
The Charter Panel noted “we are pleased with the steps that Centurion has already taken to formalise its environmental commitment and reduce its environmental impact. We are also impressed with the recent renovation which has included LED lighting throughout and ASHP’s in offices to provide heating and cooling”. The Panel also praised the introduction of a campaign throughout the offices and the canteen to increase recycling rates.
Jeff Ward, CEO at Centurion, commented: “As a company we are continually looking to improve efficiencies, I am proud of the commitment shown by our team to reduce our carbon footprint.”
Receiving this accreditation highlights Centurions vision for the future of manufacturing and shows clear direction on reducing their environmental impact.
